Historic 30th anniversary for the Mont-Sainte-Anne MTB World Cup

Mont-Sainte-Anne, Beaupré, October 14, 2025 – The 30th Mont-Sainte-Anne Mountain Bike World Cup came to a close on Sunday after a weekend that will go down in history. The 2025 event exceeded all expectations: a record crowd estimated at over 60,000 visitors, the participation of nearly 750 volunteers, a record number of 55 exhibitors in the oxio Village - in addition to the teams and their partners - not to mention the World Cup pop-up campground, VIP packages, and Kidovélo, presented by Desjardins and Fyra Quartier, all of which sold out several days before the event.
"This edition provided irrefutable proof that Mont-Sainte-Anne is iconic and legendary on the international scene, and is an unmissable stop for major mountain biking events. We knew the community was dynamic and committed, but we were stunned to see the exceptional enthusiasm generated by this 30th anniversary. It's an extremely powerful message that was communicated to us by the public and the mountain biking industry this weekend at Mont-Sainte-Anne," said Marie-France Couture, executive producer of Corporation Événements d'été de Québec, the organization that oversees the World Cup.

Hollywood-worthy sporting finals
Cheered on by 40,000 enthusiastic spectators, Canada's Jackson Goldstone delivered a stunning performance to win the Mont-Sainte-Anne downhill race on Saturday, while his rival Loïc Bruni (FR) - with whom he was neck and neck for first place in the overall season standings - chose at the last minute not to start due to injury. This victory earned him his first overall championship title after an intense season. Ontario's Isabella Holmgren also shone, taking top honors in the Short Track Cross-Country (XCC) and Olympic Cross-Country (XCO) events in the women's U23 category.

Towards Crankworx 2026
The organizers are now eagerly looking forward to Crankworx, the world's largest mountain bike festival. Its spectacular finale will be held at Mont-Sainte-Anne from September 3 to 7, 2026. The international event will be a new annual gathering for fans and visitors who have participated in UCI events for over three decades.
"We have a solid organizing team with extensive experience in Mountain Bike World Cups at Mont-Sainte-Anne. We are ready to welcome Crankworx and take this event even further. This festival is recognized worldwide for celebrating mountain biking culture, and there is no better place than here to bring the grand finale of this World tour to a spectacular close," said Ian Beaulieu, Production Director at Mouvement Production Québec.
