The Downhill event is without doubt the most challenging and spectacular of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series competitions at Mont-Sainte-Anne.

 

This event is an individual time-trial race in which racers attempt to achieve the fastest time on the legendary downhill track at Mont-Sainte-Anne. Recognized as one of the most demanding trail in the World Series, the track features a succession of fast sections and technical passages, featuring rock gardens, jumps, roots, bumps and other natural obstacles designed to spice up the ride. With its guaranteed thrills, this is a show you won't want to miss!

 

As you should always keep a winning formula, the 2024 edition will see the return of the unique course that has made Mont-Sainte-Anne's legendary reputation among international cyclists. All the great classics such as Highway to Hell, Steve Smith Drop and Les Dalles will be back, as will the La #2 forest section introduced in 2022 and the Welcome to the rock section redesigned in 2023.
