30 years of World Cup at Mont-Sainte-Anne

Beaupré, October 2 2025 - From october 9 to 12, 2025, mountain bike enthusiasts will descend on Mont-Sainte-Anne for the 30th edition of the Mountain Bike World Cup. Once again, the most historic stop on the circuit will be the final stage of the season, where the 2025 champions in downhill (DHI), Olympic cross-country (XCO), and short track cross-country (XCC) will be crowned.


Canadians in pursuit of the world title

The grand finale of the 2025 WHOOP UCI World Series at Mont-Sainte-Anne promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with two Canadians downhill athletes, Jackson Goldstone and Gracey Hemstreet, having stood out throughout the season. Currently tied for second place in the overall season standings, they could find themselves on the top step of the podium in the overall downhill (DHI) standings with a strong performance in Lake Placid this weekend and then at Mont-Sainte-Anne on Thanksgiving weekend.


In cross-country, Canadians Ella MacPhee and Isabella Holmgren are also among the athletes to watch.


A memorable opening night

On Thursday, October 9, the public is invited to the Opening Night presented by Rocky Mountain at the Mont-Sainte-Anne Base Camp.

  • 5:30 p.m.: Autograph session with cross-country athletes.

  • 6 p.m.: Official presentation of the world's top 10 downhill and cross-country athletes, hosted by Quebecer Randy Ferguson.

  • 7 p.m.: All Canadian athletes take the stage, accompagnied by the national anthem.

  • 7:10 p.m.: Autograph session with downhill stars.

  • 7:30 p.m.: Screening of the documentary 30 ans d’histoire et de légendes  (in french only, also broadcast on RDS).


Three days of competition and a program for everyone

An action-packed weekend awaits spectators, with the short track cross-country finals taking place on Friday, October 10, in the morning for U23 athletes and in the late afternoon for elite athletes. The downhill competitions will be held over two days, with double qualifiers on Friday and finals on Saturday, October 11. The Olympic cross-country competitions will close out the weekend on Sunday, October 12.


In addition to the competitions, there will be :

  • oxio Village: interactive activities and experiences. Representatives from teams, companies, and partners will showcase the latest industry innovations.

  • Kidovelo (Sunday morning, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.): an amateur race allowing children aged 2 to 12 to ride on a competition course, just like the grown-ups.

  • Fireball After-races at Boreale Lounge : every evening, local DJs (DJ Briss, DJs Terribles, DJ Sin, DJ Sam, DJGroovi3r, Monsieur PY, DJ Knockout, DADPAQ) will provide festive entertainment until the early hours of the morning.


Ticketing and 50/50

Although access to the competitions is free, certain paid areas allow spectators who wish to do so to enhance their experience. The Fyra Quartier Fan Zone allows downhill enthusiasts to experience the World Series finals up close: it offers guaranteed access to the finish line of the downhill course, just a stone's throw from the Hot Seat and the podium. The Fan Zone will be open from 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, at a cost of $25. Tickets are available online and on site.


New for 2025: the 50/50 Chalets-Village of the MTB World Cup Mont-Sainte-Anne. By participating in the draw, registrants have a chance to win half of the grand prize pool at the end of the weekend, in addition to being eligible for weekly spot draws. The funds raised will support associations, clubs, and other sports, social, or community groups in Côte-de-Beaupré and/or Capitale-Nationale.


A special collection to mark 30 years of history

For three decades, Mont-Sainte-Anne has held a unique place in the history of mountain biking. As the first North American circuit in the UCI World Cup and host of three World Championships, it has seen the biggest names in the sport pass through its gates and has helped several generations of athletes emerge and shine.

To commemorate the history of mountain biking that has been written on the trails of Mont-Sainte-Anne, the 30 Years of History, 30 Years of Legends clothing collection, inspired by the community's love for the MSA MTB Cup and its three-decade legacy, will be available for purchase in limited quantities during the event. Fans and enthusiasts of the event are invited to purchase their piece of history and proudly display their colors during the weekend.
