The Short Track Cross-country World Cup is a fast, dynamic race lasting around 25 minutes. Runners, both men and women, compete on a course of 1.15 km, and must complete several laps of the circuit during the event. This looped race allows spectators to be right at the heart of the action and experience the suspense of the event with the athletes.

The 2023 edition saw a complete metamorphosis of the course, and the team at Vélosolutions Canada, designers of the World Cup routes at Mont-Sainte-Anne, are looking forward to maximizing these changes for the 2024 edition. The ultra-fast, wide and rolling circuit offers a tight race that promises plenty of overtaking action, and speed and strategy are key to securing a place on the podium. Spectator areas set up around the track allow everyone to see the entire course and follow the entire race to keep the suspense alive right up to the last moment!
